Circus People, We

"It was out of the warmth and pity I felt for my Carny parents that I volunteered to stand-in for an acrobatic clown who was out with a fractured tibia. For me, being a clown was easy. Even at a young age, I had seen my parents' show countless times. I knew every joke, schtick, and acrobatic cue like I knew my own diaper.

And after my first night in the center ring, I knew that I would follow my parents lead, and make my career under the big-top."
