"Last Brisket" by George Michael

Happy Challahdays

Last bris-ket
I gave it my heart
The very next day
You threw it away

You said it was dry
I started to cry
We noshed on some day-old LAT-kes.

**

Last brisk-ket
I brined it in salt
Wrapped it in foil
And drizzled with oil

Fatty side up
I filled up my cup
And started to grate the po-TAY-toes

**

Last bris-ket
I gave it 4 hours
Then jumped in the shower

3 hours passed
You turned down the gas
And poked it to find it FRO-zen

**

Last bris-ket
An hour-a-pound
I just put it in
and then stood around

THIS year
To save me from tears
We're going to out-BACK steak-HOUSE

etc.

Get yer suit on . . .

. . . yer CHANUKAH SUIT !!!

And,

as in the time of the Maccabees:

Wash not your Chanukah Suit for 8 festive days

and 8 luminous nights!

Happy Chanukah!

A nap fit for a Maccabee!

Sewfisicated Cambridge = BAD service

And, that's 'new' yarn!
