Rose of Sharon (LOVE YOU Doug, Henna-Shay!)

Today, to honor the life of Mamama, Nelly, we planted a Rose of Sharon. The Rose of Sharon is a symbol of love, beauty and healing to Jews (from the song of Solomon) and Christians (the biblical Rose of Sharon). This plant will blossom beautiful pink, purple, and blue flowers each summer through fall. It may grow as high as ten feet tall and as wide as eight feet. The beauty and grandness of it will remind us always Nelly.
